Since Dr. Allen and I got into South Africa a little later than everyone else, I went straight from the airport to our first adventure. For our first adventure, we went to Robben Island to tour around the "political prison". Where we got to see the "first university of South Africa" and where the prisoners stayed, even Nelson Mandela's prison.
Thanks for the information! I am looking to travel to Cape Town. Someone told me that Cape Town's crime is high - but after doing my own research, I think it is as safe as anywhere, and I'm looking forward to the trip!
